A man is in critical condition after a shooting in El Mirage on Saturday morning, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A man is in critical condition after a shooting in El Mirage on Saturday morning, authorities said.
According to the El Mirage Police Department, officers responded to a home in the area of Dysart Road and Acoma Drive for reports of a shooting at 5:49 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from what authorities described as a serious injury to the head.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Both occupants who were inside the home at the time of the shooting are cooperating with investigators, according to police.
Police said there are no outstanding suspects or threats to the public.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
