Man goes missing in Lake Pleasant while diving with friends

PHOENIX — A man went missing in Lake Pleasant on Saturday after failing to come back with two of his friends while diving.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office was searching for the body of the diver.

While the exact location of where the man went missing is unknown, Peoria Fire officials said that the search is being declared as a body recovery operation.

Officials also say that crews are stationed near the dam.

Update: MCSO said Tuesday that divers recovered the body of 30-year-old Joshua Rosen from Tucson. Foul play was not suspected.
