Main Street Minute: Scottsdale bakery giving away cupcakes to some customers

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Some lucky folks will get a free cupcake Tuesday at Sprinkles bakery near Scottsdale and Camelback roads in Scottsdale. The National Cupcake Day deal is only available to customers who show the Android pay app on their cellphones.

• There’s a job fair from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday night in Fountain Hills. Brokers Alliance needs 10 financial-service sales representatives by the end of the month and an additional 45 next year.

• State Farm has more than 300 openings to fill by February. The insurance giant is hosting a hiring event Tuesday to get that done. Applicants can meet with recruiters and hiring managers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Phoenix Airport Marriott near 44th Street and Loop 202.
