Lottery tickets from 2 Valley gas stations hit big wins, including $315,000 jackpot

PHOENIX – Lottery tickets purchased at two metro Phoenix gas stations delivered big wins in drawings on Tuesday, March 3.

The biggest of the payouts was a $315,000 Triple Twist jackpot. That ticket came from the QuikTrip at Val Vista Drive and Main Street in Mesa and matched all six winning numbers: 11, 14, 17, 19, 23 and 24.

Triple Twist is a daily Arizona Lottery draw game with $2 entries. The odds of hitting the jackpot, which resets to $200,000 after a win, are 1 in over 5.2 million.

Meanwhile, a Mega Millions ticket from the QuikTrip on Glendale Avenue just west of 35th Avenue in Phoenix earned its buyer a $20,000 prize. It matched four of the five white numbers — 7, 21, 53, 54 and 62 — plus the gold Mega Ball of 16.

Mega Millions is a multistate game with drawings on Tuesdays and Fridays. Entries cost $5.

After going unclaimed, the Mega Millions jackpot for the next drawing on Friday will increase to an estimated $496 million.
