Litchfield Festival of Arts returns next month for 50th anniversary

PHOENIX – One of the oldest festivals in the Southwest will return to the West Valley next month for its 50th Anniversary.

The annual Litchfield Festival of Arts will take over the center of town on Nov. 7 and 8 with coronavirus safety precautions in place.

The two-day festival will be held along Old Litchfield Road and Wigwam Boulevard.

According to the city’s website, the event will feature fine art, entertainment and delectable cuisine to indulge in.

Artists and craftsmen will have a wide selection of crafts ranging from functional to decorative décor and from contemporary to Native American styles.

The free event, which is also dog friendly, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

There is also free parking available in the gravel lot just east of City Hall and at the Litchfield Public Library.

Face coverings and social distancing will be enforced at the event to comply with the city’s mask mandate.
