PHOENIX – Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night can keep ZooLights from delivering illuminated enjoyment — but the calendar can.

The lights will go out on the Phoenix Zoo’s annual nighttime show after this weekend, and only two days remain for the drive-thru option.

Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the final nights for the traditional, on-foot version of the event, which has been running since Nov. 7.

If you want to avoid the elements, and people, the final Cruise ZooLights nights will be held Wednesday and Thursday.

The drive-thru option debuted this season as a way for visitors to enjoy the event without coming into contact with other people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ZooLights runs from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with entry for the drive-thru option cutting off at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets for either version must be purchased online in advance. Non-member entry is $20 per person for walk-thru nights and $75 per carload for Cruise ZooLights.
