Kroger expands home wine delivery program to Arizona

PHOENIX — If home wine delivery sounds like the perfect gift this holiday season, you’re in luck.

The Kroger Wine service expanded last week to include Arizona in its operations, according to a press release.

Wine lovers can base selections on flavor and origin, either purchasing a premade pack or building a custom one.

Packs come in 4, 6 or 12 bottles, with the price per bottle ranging between $10 and $16.

Connoisseurs (or those aspiring to be) can sign up for a subscription service that delivers 12 bottles about every three months.

Kroger, the parent company of Fry’s Food Stores, launched home wine delivery last year in 14 states. It expanded earlier this year to include four more states, then again on Nov. 20 to rope in Arizona.

“Kroger is continuously broadening how customers can engage with us no matter what their needs are,” Jody Kalmbach, Kroger’s group vice president of product experience, said in the release.

“Our mission is to serve our customers anything, anytime, anywhere, and Kroger Wine represents an additional way our customers can shop with us.”
