Colombian superstar Karol G announces world tour with Glendale stop

PHOENIX — Did you miss Colombian superstar Karol G’s standout Coachella performance this month? If the rave reviews left you feeling a little “Amargura” — bitterness — due to being left out, there’s good news: She’s heading to metro Phoenix to be “Contigo” at State Farm Stadium in August.

The massive “Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour” global tour, which kicks off this summer and will last until July 2027, will light up Glendale with reggaeton and Latin trap beats on Aug. 29.

Fans can get first access to tickets through various presales, including an exclusive artist presale. To be eligible, register at karolgmusic.com by 7 a.m. Friday Arizona time.

Signing up for the presale will let you buy tickets for the tour starting Monday at noon.

However, fans can also sign up to be notified about VIP sales. These packages include perks like premium tickets, invitations to the pre-show VIP lounge and exclusive merchandise.

This will be Karol G’s first time visiting Arizona in almost four years. The last time was for an Oct. 11, 2022, concert at what is now known as Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, according to setlist.fm.

Her music, known for blending traditional Latin styles with modern pop vibrancy, has earned her three Grammy nominations. She scored a historic win for best música urbana album, making her the first female artist to take home the trophy for that category.
