Investigation underway after officers were involved in a shooting in Phoenix

An investigation is underway after officers were involved in a shooting in Phoenix on Sunday, authorities said.

The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting occurred near 19th Avenue and Cheryl Drive.

Phoenix police said no officers were injured in the shooting and there are no outstanding suspects.

The Department of Public Safety’s Major Incident Division is handling the investigation of the shooting.
