I-10 to have lane restrictions in both directions between Sept. 24-29

ADOT announced a pavement improvement project that will cause overnight lane restrictions in both directions of Interstate 10 south of Chandler.

The Arizona Department of Transportation announced a pavement improvement project that will cause overnight lane restrictions in both directions of Interstate 10 south of Chandler. Work will begin on the evening of Sept. 24 and finish the morning of Sept. 29.

The road work will take place between the Gila River Bridge at milepost 173 and State Route 587/Casa Blanca Road at milepost 176.

To avoid the lane restrictions, drivers can use Interstate 8 and State Route 85 to connect back to I-10.

The I-10 resurfacing project is scheduled for completion this Fall.
