I-10 near 59th Avenue to be narrowed to one lane nightly for nearly a week

PHOENIX — As construction on the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange continues, Interstate 10 will be narrowed to one lane at the following times:

• Eastbound I-10 near 59th Avenue, Sept. 9-11, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

• Westbound I-10 near 59th Avenue, Sept. 10-13, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The Arizona Department of Transportation recommends that drivers planning to be on the road at these times allow for extra travel time or consider alternate routes.
