Human remains found along Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park
It's unclear if the discovery was related to the search for a man still missing after flash flooding last month.

Human remains were found in Grand Canyon National Park along the Colorado River on Monday, more than two weeks after deadly flash flooding, authorities said.
Rangers responded after the remains were found near Crystal Rapid, according to the National Park Service.
NPS recovered the remains, which were transferred to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The park service did not provide any other information.
It’s unclear whether the discovery was related to the search for a man still missing after flash flooding at the bottom of the Grand Canyon on Aug. 29.
Rescue crews helped extract about 80 people after the flooding.
The bodies of two missing men were recovered, but the search for the man they were camping with, Timothy Smith, continued.
Carrie Smith, the missing man’s wife, posted the following message to her Facebook page on Tuesday morning:
We are aware that the Grand Canyon found remains yesterday. We ask that you continue to pray alongside us! Please be considerate of those handling the situation and those going through this difficult time. God is good and loves us unconditionally through every step of life.
