Hot, dry weather expected in Phoenix over Labor Day weekend

Sep 3, 2021, 11:54 AM

PHOENIX — It’ll be another hot, dry holiday weekend in Phoenix.

Those in the Valley for Labor Day weekend can expect the high to reach 101 degrees on Friday before a slight bump to 102 degrees on Saturday and 103 on Sunday and the holiday Monday.

There’s no rain in the forecast, a return to drier weather after another half an inch of rain dropped in Phoenix earlier this week.

Lows are supposed to dip to 82 degrees the remaining days of the holiday weekend.

Anyone traveling up north will be rewarded with warm and mild weather.

Highs in Flagstaff will hover around the low 80s, while Prescott is expected to see temperatures in the high 80s.

Sedona will be slightly warmer with the high on Labor Day forecast to hit 95 degrees.

All three cities don’t have rain in the forecast.

The Arizona Department of Transportation reminds that drivers heading up north should be prepared for heavier traffic, especially during peak travel times on Friday and Monday.

We want to hear from you.
