PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Home and Flower Show is returning to Scottsdale this weekend for its second year.
The floral-focused home improvement event will take place Friday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at WestWorld of Scottsdale located at 16601 N. Pima Road, the same site as the inaugural show.
“We are thrilled to be in our second year of the Floral Showcase in Arizona,” Katie Jones, Home and Flower Show manager, said in a press release. “After traveling the country visiting other floral shows, we are confident that this Arizona show is second to none! Our ensemble of outstanding local independent flower stores and contributors will amaze and educate all who attend.”
The show’s theme this year is “The Language of Flowers” and is meant to highlight the symbolic way in which flowers can communicate stories and emotions.
What can Maricopa County Home and Flower Show attendees expect?
The event will have over 1,000 home improvement exhibits, showcasing the latest trends, combined with over a million flower petals to create a variety of installations, themed garden-scapes, a living greenhouse and a flower market.
The show will feature other attractions as well, including The Plant Bar, Battle of the Bouquets and a range of DIY opportunities such as creating your own bouquet air freshener or a botanical piece of art.
There will also be a food court on site.
General admission into the event is $10 for adults and $3 for children aged 4 to 12. Kids 3 and under can get in free. On-site parking for this event is free.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the event.
