PHOENIX – Fall isn’t just pumpkin spice season or spooky season, it’s voting season.
The midterm general election takes place on Nov. 8.
Arizona voters will elect a new governor, secretary of state and attorney general and decide whether the current superintendent of public instruction, treasurer and one U.S. senator and will stay in office or be replaced.
Arizona’s nine seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and the 30 Senate and 60 House seats in the state Legislature are also up for grabs.
In addition, this year’s ballots will include 10 propositions for voters to accept or reject.
Voters who live in Maricopa County can log into their account at BeBallotReady.vote to check their registration status and see all the races that will be on their ballot.
For statewide details, the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office sent out its general election publicity pamphlet and posted it available online in September.
