A Goodyear high school student was arrested for posting a photo of a gun on social media, police said.

PHOENIX — A Goodyear high school student was arrested for posting a photo of a gun on social media, police said.
Estrella Foothills High School staff reported the social media post to police and officers responded on Wednesday at 3:40 p.m.
Police later identified the students involved with making the post and went to their residence on Wednesday evening.
Police said one student was arrested and booked into Durango Juvenile Detention for possessing a firearm.
Charges will be submitted for the second student, police said.
The high school will have additional police patrols on as a precautionary measure, authorities said.
No other information was made available.

This is not reporting. You're just phoning it in at this point. There is nothing illegal about posting a picture of a gun on social media.
