Glendale shooting leaves 2 teens with serious injuries

PHOENIX — Two teen boys were seriously injured in Glendale after an argument led to a shooting on Wednesday night.

The identities of the teens, who are 18 and 19 years old, were not released due to the ongoing investigation, according to the Glendale Police spokesperson.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. near a neighborhood in the area 59th and Northern avenues.

Police said many witnesses initially fled from the scene, but later returned to provide investigators with information.

Detectives were able to find probable cause and serve a search warrant on a nearby area, authorities said.

Both teens are expected to survive their injuries, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details were released.
