Glendale man arrested for allegedly molesting 11-year-old girl
A 34-year-old Glendale man was recently arrested on molestation and sexual abuse charges, according to authorities.

PHOENIX — A Glendale man was arrested Tuesday on molestation and sexual abuse charges, according to authorities.
Colby Cassel, 34, was arrested after an 11-year-old girl told police he had molested her in June 2025, according to court documents.
During a July 2, 2025, interview, the girl allegedly told police there were two instances when she woke up to Cassel molesting her and asking her if she was awake, according to court documents.
She said her stepsister and brothers were in the room during these incidents.

Cassel agreed to be interviewed by detectives on the day he was arrested, according to court records.
“Colby claimed he believed the victim’s 33-year-old mother was in the bed with him,” according to the probable cause statement for his arrest.
He was then brought to Phoenix Police headquarters for further questioning, during which he allegedly admitted to touching the girl inappropriately.
He was booked into jail for two counts of molestation and two counts of sexual abuse.
Cassel is being held on a $151,000 bond.
