Gilbert Police arrest 3 teens in connection with Valley-wide vehicle burglary spree

PHOENIX — The Gilbert Police Department arrested three teenagers in connection to a recent Valley-wide vehicle burglary spree on Tuesday.

Multiple firearms were recovered along with stolen property when the suspects were taken into custody, police said.

Elijah Saenz, 18, of San Tan Valley was arrested and booked into jail on one count of burglary in the second degree, 15 counts of burglary in the third degree, three counts of criminal damage, three counts of misconduct involving weapons and one count of theft of a credit card.

Additionally, two 17-year-old boys from Mesa were arrested and booked on charges of minors in possession of a firearm. Their names were not released due to their age.

This is an ongoing investigation.
