Valley tribal casinos to open bingo hall at East Valley location

Gila River Resorts & Casinos announced Monday that it will be opening a bingo hall at its Santan Mountain location later this summer.

PHOENIX — Gila River Resorts & Casinos announced Monday that it will be opening a bingo hall at its Santan Mountain location later this summer.

The grand opening of the bingo hall at Gila River Resorts & Casinos — Santan Mountain, located near Gilbert Road and Hunt Highway, will be from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 29 through Sept. 1.

“Bingo has consistently been one of the most beloved and high-energy experiences at our Vee Quiva location, drawing loyal guests and new players alike with every session,” Gila River Resorts & Casinos’ General Manager Denise Pfaff said in the announcement.

“We knew we had something special, and with the excitement and demand continuing to grow, it only made sense to bring bingo to our newest and most modern property — Santan Mountain. We’re thrilled to introduce a vibrant, new way to play and win in a one-of-a-kind setting.”

The Santan Mountain location opened in June 2023.

What features will the bingo hall have?

The bingo club is 13,000 square feet and has an indoor/outdoor open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The bingo hall also features a word-class sound system, immersive lighting, a dance floor, 98-inch HD TVs and digital bingo options and playing features.

Bingo sessions will be hosted in the hall daily, and ticket packages will range in price from $30 to $225.

One of the sessions that will be hosted in the hall is Bingo After Dark also known as B.A.D. It’s a late-night session that will take place every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. and includes a live DJ, line dancing, glowsticks, cash prizes and more. Sales for the late sessions will start at 9 p.m.

The first after dark session will be on Aug. 30.

Meanwhile, the daily sessions offered at the club will be at noon, 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sales for those sessions will start at 10 a.m. for the one at noon and 4:30 p.m. for the evening ones, buy-ins are cash only.

The grand opening of the hall will include the world’s largest bingo drum, giveaways, a live DJ, a celebrity guest host and more.

In addition, the first 230 guests in line for each bingo session will get to spin the prize wheel for the chance to win a free t-shirt, dauber, gift card, hat, varsity jacket, or other prizes while supplies lasts.

Santan Mountain will be offering a buy one, get one free special for electronic tickets during the grand opening weekend.
