Woman rescued after getting stuck inside garbage truck in Phoenix

PHOENIX – A woman was rescued Tuesday morning after getting stuck inside a garbage truck in Phoenix, authorities said.
Officers responded to the unusual service call near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road around 4:40 a.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The garbage truck driver told police he heard knocking from inside the vehicle after his last stop.
Phoenix Fire Department personnel responded and helped get the woman out.
She was taken to a hospital to be checked out as a precaution, police said.
