PHOENIX – Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has added a route between Phoenix Sky Harbor International and Hollywood Burbank Airport.

Nonstop service to and from the Los Angeles-area facility begins July 15, the airline said Thursday.

A sale to launch the flight ends Monday at 8:59 p.m. Arizona time for travel through Oct. 6 but blackout rules apply Sept. 1-7, which includes Labor Day weekend. Fares began as low as $19 one way.

The airline charges extra fees for carry-on luggage, checked bags and priority boarding, among other travel options.

Frontier requires all customers and crew members wear a face covering throughout their travel journey.

Anyone flying with the airline has to: fill out a health acknowledgement before flying to confirm that no one in the household has displayed COVID-19 symptoms in the previous 14 days; wash hands/sanitize before boarding a flight and acknowledge the company’s face covering and preflight temperature check policies.
