PHOENIX — A retired assistant district attorney from New York was arrested at his Arizona home last week for child pornography.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, 66-year-old Marc Temkin was arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a minor. He is facing 10 counts of the charge.

Temkin was arrested shortly after detectives searched his home in the southeast area of Tucson. The search was triggered after suspected child-pornography images were uploaded from an IP address in his home.

Pima County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Ingett said the investigation is ongoing.

Temkin is a former prosecutor with the Queens County District Attorney’s office, where he served for 30 years before retiring in 2011.
