Former NBA player’s house in Mesa sells for $3.25 million
The six-bedroom, 8.5 bath mansion comes with water displays, a movie theater and a hardwood basketball court next to its eight-car garage.
PHOENIX — A custom-built home on the outskirts of a mountain range has sold.
The 12,803 square-foot house near the edge of Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa sold for $3.25 million. The listing said it belonged to an NBA player, but did not specify whom.
It’s fitting, then, that across from the eight-car extended garage sits an indoor, Brazilian Cherry hardwood basketball court lined with jerseys of famous athletes.
The gated home has a spacious driveway and an entrance with a fountain. Enter to wooden flooring with carved Cantera columns and beams.
The master bedroom is spacious, but it’s nothing compared to the master bathroom. The two vanities are separated by a large Jacuzzi bathtub in the middle, complete with a tv for all relaxation needs.
There’s also an oil-infused steam shower and sauna. It even comes with ultimate privacy: two toilets.
The closet is just as extravagant. Lit by chandeliers, it has glass doors on the custom cabinets and a full-length changing mirror. There is also a laundry room with four appliances and plenty of cabinet space.
The six-bedroom home has 8.5 bathrooms, including one bathroom in each bedroom.
The listing shows includes pictures of a gym, an office, a game room and a movie theater.
There are multiple pools, each with different fountain displays – the largest has a light waterfall coming from an upper story.
The backyard comes with fireplaces and a rolling grassy field for pets and kids.
Unfortunately for those who can afford the $3 million price tag, it sold on March 9, according to the listing. But keep an eye out – there is no shortage of luxurious homes in the Valley.
