PHOENIX – Foreigner and friends are bringing a cassette case full of rock radio hits to Phoenix this summer on their Juke Box Heroes 2020 tour.

The ’70s and ’80s chart toppers will be joined by fellow classic rock mainstays Kansas and Europe on July 10 at Ak-Chin Pavilion.

Presales began this week, and tickets will be made available to the general public Friday at 10 a.m.

Foreigner last appeared in the Valley in June 2019 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale and last performed at Ak-Chin Pavilion in August 2017 on their 40th anniversary tour.

The new tour is named after “Juke Box Hero,” the anthemic rocker from 1981’s “4,” Foreigner’s No. 1 album that also featured “Urgent” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You.”

Kansas, which had three top 10 albums in the ‘70s, bring enduring classics “Carry on Wayward Son,” “Point of Know Return” and “Dust in the Wind” to the table.

Swedish metal veterans Europe are bound to deliver a fist-pumping version of “The Final Countdown,” their iconic international breakthrough from 1986, during their opening set.
