Firefighters rescue puppy stuck in sink of Glendale home

PHOENIX — Firefighters saved a puppy that got stuck in a sink at a home in Glendale on Tuesday, authorities said.

According to the Glendale Fire Department, Engine 151 responded to reports about a small chihuahua who was stuck in a sink and unable to get free.

Senior firefighter Jacob Matheson and probationary firefighter Billy Bollick utilized patience and care to free the puppy from where it was trapped.

It was then reunited with its owner, who firefighters said was “very relieved.”
