Arizona man gets 25-year sentence for selling fentanyl, methamphetamine

A New River man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after being convicted of selling fentanyl and methamphetamine in Yavapai County, authorities said.

Donald Dean, 57, was arrested in June 2025 after a joint investigation by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit and the Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking task force.

Prosecutors said the sentence was based on two incidents tried together, Dean’s criminal history and the fact that he was on release for another felony at the time.
