PHOENIX — Investigators identified the suspect in a central Phoenix fatal stabbing last Sunday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call about an injured man near Fifth Avenue and Osborn Road around 8 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
They found 29-year-old Reminisce Biddle, who was suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim died after he was taken to a hospital.
Homicide detectives took over the case and determined that Biddle was stabbed by Damian Mitchell, 47, near Third Avenue and Osborn. Biddle rode his bicycle to Fifth Avenue before collapsing, authorities said.
Mitchell was booked and charged with one count of second-degree murder.
After Mitchell was identified on Jan. 5, Phoenix police said there were no outstanding suspects.
The investigation remains active, however.
