Suspect at large after man killed in west Phoenix shooting

The suspect in a fatal shooting in Phoenix over the weekend is at large, police announced Wednesday. Eric Gutierrez was the victim.

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting that took place over the weekend.

Officers found the victim, 32-year-old Eric Gutierrez, with at least one gunshot wound on Sunday around 3:30 p.m.

The unknown suspect fled the scene, near Buckeye Road and 23rd Avenue, before they arrived, police said.

Homicide detectives took over the investigation.

Anyone with information about the fatal shooting in Phoenix is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 480-TESTIGO (837-8446) for Spanish Speakers.
