Fatal crash closes eastbound Interstate 10 south of Phoenix

PHOENIX – A fatal rollover crash shut down eastbound Interstate 10 south of Phoenix early Monday morning, authorities said.

One person was killed in the 5:15 a.m. wreck near Riggs Road killed one, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said in an email.

The stretch of road was closed until about 8:20 a.m.

No other details were immediately available.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said there was no estimated time for reopening.
