Am I reading this correctly!? A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, and then immediately struck by additional vehicles, and yet no one - from any of the multiple vehicles that struck him stayed on the scene, called 911, or rendered medical aid!?! And the pedestrian was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his severe injuries?? Besides how horribly wrong it is to abandoned someone you just struck with your vehicle as they lay bleeding in the road; but besides that - the seriousness of what such actions constitute under the law is enough to boggle one’s mind!! There are three or four different types of offenses when 1 leaves the scene of an accident. The very worst is when someone leaves the scene of an injury accident that results in somebody’s death. A serious felony offense. How are those Multiple drivers going to explain to the family how they could leave their loved bleeding and dying in the street without medical aid. Unconscionable.
