PHOENIX – A fan was injured in a fall at Chase Field after the Arizona Diamondbacks’ victory on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Deputies working at the game were alerted to an injured man in the downtown Phoenix stadium’s rotunda area near the west entrance around 3:10 p.m., according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

Citing witness accounts, MCSO said he apparently jumped onto a second-floor railing “in an attempt to take a picture” and lost his balance. Authorities don’t suspect foul play.
