Pedestrian seriously injured in multivehicle collision in El Mirage
A multivehicle collision in El Mirage at the intersection of Peoria Avenue and El Mirage Road left a pedestrian hurt on Thursday morning, police said.

A pedestrian was seriously injured after a multivehicle collision on Thursday morning, according to the El Mirage Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene of the crash on Peoria Avenue and El Mirage Road shortly after 8:20 a.m.
Emergency medical personnel responded to provide life-saving measures to the pedestrian, who was later brought to a hospital for treatment.
Police said there were reports of additional injuries, but it is unclear how many other people were hurt or how severe their injuries were.
As investigators collect evidence from the scene, the intersection will remain closed.
Motorists are asked to find alternative routes and avoid the area.
