Eastbound US 60 in Mesa closed due to crash

PHOENIX — A crash closed eastbound U.S. 60 near Greenfield Road in Mesa for about 45 minutes on Monday, authorities said.

The freeway was shut down around 10:15 a.m. and reopened near 11 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Multiple lanes remained closed and traffic was heavy as authorities worked to clear the crash.
