DPS trooper injured after collision with Tesla in Phoenix

A trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety was injured after a collision on Thursday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety was injured after a collision on Thursday, authorities said.

The accident took place around 1:45 p.m. in the area of Interstate 17 and Camelback Road, according to DPS.

It was a minor injury involving a Tesla and a DPS patrol vehicle, according to department spokesperson Bart Graves.

The trooper sustained minor injuries.
