Downtown Phoenix Oktoberfest returning in September

PHOENIX — A beer festival is returning to downtown Phoenix for the second consecutive year.

The Downtown Phoenix Oktoberfest will be held at Civic Space Park on Sept. 28 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to a press release.

The 21-and-over event will feature several types of German beer and traditional German food, such as bratwurst and schnitzel.

There will also be live music from New Orleans-style band Funkhaus Brass and various contests and games.

Tickets for the event are available online for $10 for general admission. Group tickets for four people can be purchased for $30.

Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.

Civic Space Park is located on Central Avenue just north of Van Buren Street.
