Doobie Brothers announce a visit to Comerica Theatre on headline tour
The Doobie Brothers announced their 2018 headline tour dates and will be visiting Comerica Theatre in April. Tickets start at $55.
PHOENIX — The Doobie Brothers announced their 2018 headline tour and will be performing at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix on April 12.
Tickets for the show go on sale Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $55 with VIP packages available.
The celebrated rock band has sold more than 48 million albums and has won four Grammy awards during their illustrious career. Their music blends many genres including soft rock, pop, country and folk.
The San Jose, California-based band has been active for nearly five decades. During their time, they’ve racked up five top-10 singles, 16 top-40 hits, three multi-platinum, seven platinum and 14 gold albums.
One of their albums, “Best of the Doobies”, even achieved a diamond record by selling 10 million copies.
Their tour will be filled with many of their popular songs including “Black Water”, “What a Fool Believes” and “Long Train Runnin'”.
The band continues to write and record new music.
Their most recent album, “Southbound”, was released in November 2014, it features collaborations and remakes of their past songs. The album features some of the biggest names in country music including Blake Shelton, Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley and Toby Keith.
The tour kicks off on April 6 in California and ends in September in San Diego.
