President Donald Trump to join Erika Kirk at Turning Point USA event in Phoenix

PHOENIX – In his first trip to Arizona since Charlie Kirk’s memorial service last year, President Donald Trump will appear at a Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, the conservative activist group cofounded by Kirk announced Tuesday.

Erika Kirk, who succeeded her late husband as Turning Point USA’s CEO after his assassination, is also scheduled to appear at the April 17 event, which is called “Build the Red Wall.”

U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, who has Trump’s endorsement as he runs for governor this year, rounds out the initial speaker list.

The free event will start at noon at Dream City Church, the site of two previous Trump appearances.

Anyone interested in attending can sign up through the event website. Organizers will send out guidance the night before.

When was President Donald Trump’s last Arizona appearance?

During his last visit to the Grand Canyon State, Trump headlined a long list of speakers at a memorial service for Charlie Kirk at State Farm Stadium in Glendale in September 2025.

He appeared previously at Dream City Church for a student rally during his reelection campaign in June 2020 and for a town hall event in June 2024 as part of his third run for the presidency.
