Dog parks at Surprise Community Park to be closed for a month

PHOENIX —  The dog parks at Surprise Community Park are scheduled to be closed from Sept. 9 to Oct. 7 in order to undergo annual maintenance.

As a result, both the small and large dog park will be unavailable during that time.

Surprise Community Park is located at 15953 N. Bullard Ave.

Dog owners in Surprise won’t be out of luck in the meantime, however.

Those seeking nearby options are encouraged to use the dog park at Dick McComb City Park during the scheduled closure.

Dick McComb City Park is located at 17894 W. Westpark Blvd.
