PHOENIX – On the same day President Donald Trump will be campaigning in Arizona, Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris will return to the Grand Canyon State on Wednesday.

U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego, a Phoenix Democrat and a surrogate for the Joe Biden/Harris campaign, announced that Harris was returning to Arizona during an interview with KTAR News 92.3 FM’s Arizona’s Morning News on Monday morning.

Gallego said he didn’t have the details about the U.S. senator from California’s visit, but the campaign announced that Harris would stop in Phoenix and Tucson six days before the Nov. 3 election. The specifics were not released.

Harris joined Biden on Oct. 8 during the only previous campaign trip by the Democratic ticket to Arizona, which traditionally favors Republicans but is a swing state this year. Vice President Mike Pence was also in Arizona that day.

Trump has already announced plans for campaign stops in Goodyear and Bullhead City on Wednesday, his seventh visit to the state this election season.
