Crash closes eastbound US 60 in Tempe during rush hour

PHOENIX — A crash closed eastbound U.S. 60 in Tempe during rush hour on Monday evening.

The crash closed the freeway near McClintock Drive and created a lengthy delay to exit the freeway.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said the freeway reopened at about 6:30 p.m.

The westbound lanes of U.S. 60 weren’t affected by the crash.
