Crash briefly closes Price Freeway Loop 101 at Baseline Road

PHOENIX – A brief closure after a rollover wreck created a mileslong backup on an East Valley freeway Wednesday morning.

The truck crash in northbound lanes of Price Freeway Loop 101 at Baseline Road stopped traffic around 8:30 a.m., the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

The roadway reopened within 20 minutes, but vehicles were backed up by then during the end of the morning commute.

Traffic cameras showed vehicles were backed up to Warner Road.
