Construction underway on second phase of Park303 project in Glendale

PHOENIX — Construction has begun on the second phase of the expansive Park303 industrial park project in Glendale.

The 2.5 million-square-foot space will be home to three buildings, the largest of which will take up about 1.25 million square feet across 72 acres, according to a press release.

The other two buildings will take up 630,000 square feet and 483,000 square feet, respectively, and can be combined into a 1.2 million-square-foot facility if necessary.

Phase II is located near Loop 303 between Bethany Home Road and Glendale Avenue.

“This is a very exciting time to develop industrial space in metro Phoenix, with demand high in all sectors,” David Krumwiede, executive vice president of developer LPC Desert West, said in the release.

“Owners and tenants want cutting-edge product, and we are building at Park303 and across our portfolio to exceed those expectations.”

The buildings will have 430 dock doors, 778 trailer stalls and more than 1,550 parking stalls.

Amenities of the project include a basketball/pickleball court, barbeque station, shaded outdoor eating area and employee collaboration spaces.

Phase I of Park303 was sold for a single building industrial sale record of $186 million in September.

That 1.25 million-square foot facility is under a long-term lease by Walmart.
