Collision with vehicle leaves motorcyclist dead in north Phoenix
A motorcyclist is dead after a collision with a vehicle in north Phoenix late Thursday night and speed is believed to be a factor, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a vehicle in north Phoenix late Thursday night, according to authorities.
Police responded to the area of 15th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 10:30 p.m. for reports of a fatal collision.
A man, later identified as 54-year-old Jason Sutterfield, was found with injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, the Phoenix Police Department said.
The driver of the vehicle that was hit remained at the scene.
Detectives who took over the investigation said Sutterfield was heading west on Bethany Home Road before crashing into the vehicle, which was making a northbound turn onto 15th Avenue from eastbound Bethany Home Road.
Speed is believed to be a factor in this crash.
No other information was provided. The investigation is ongoing.

Sounds like the motorcycleist was going straight and the car was making a left turn and didn’t see the motorcycle . The car turning left did not have the right way and didn’t make sure the intersection was clear to make the left turn.
You postured this article to make it look like the motorcyclist was at fault and he made contact with the car . No! The car made an illegal left-hand turn and was moving his vehicle from a stopped position and didn’t make sure the environment was clear to make that turn. I hope he was cited and also charged with manslaughter. But you leave all that out in the article here so shame on you for spinning it in such a way to make it look like the motorcyclist was at fault!!
