It’s that time of year again when the Arizona State Fair rolls into town, bringing cotton candy, rides, and a crowd favorite for Valley music lovers: the Coliseum Concert Series.

The fair just revealed the first two artists in this year’s lineup: Tempe’s own Gin Blossoms and country music star Russell Dickerson.

The Grammy-nominated alt-rock icons, the Gin Blossoms, will take the stage on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m.

Russell Dickerson, known for multi-platinum country hits like “Yours” and “Blue Tacoma,” will perform the following week on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m.

Both shows will take place at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Just like the Gin Blossoms, Dickerson will perform without an opening act.

How to get Coliseum Concert Series tickets for Gin Blossoms, Russel Dickerson

Public tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.

If you want first dibs, you can join the Fair Fandom pre-sale starting Thursday at 10 a.m. Members will receive an early access password to purchase tickets before the general public.

Here is where you can sign up for the pre-sales:

Best of all, fair admission is included with every concert ticket. That means you can hop on rides, chow down on deep-fried Klondike Bars, and check out the local award-winning art exhibits before heading into the show.

These are just the first two artists announced for this year’s Coliseum Concert Series, with more announcements expected in the coming weeks.
