Check out Google’s top autocomplete suggestions for Arizona

PHOENIX — There’s a lot that people know about our great state, but that hasn’t stopped Google from guessing what people will want to find out about it.

Digg uncovered Google’s autocomplete suggestions for all 50 states, including Arizona.

The websites pulled the top 10 results based on three styles of questions — “Why is,” “When will” and “Can.”

The top result for “Why is” is about as Arizona as possible — “Why is Arizona so hot?”

Other top results include “Why is Arizona so cheap?”, “Why is Arizona called Arizona?”, “Why is Arizona the Cardinals?” and “Why is Arizona education so bad?”

“When will” had a distinct Senate theme.

Eight of the top 10 results were based around the Senate race between Kyrsten Sinema and Martha McSally or John McCain, the longtime Arizona senator who died in August.

The top two results for that question weren’t related to the Senate — “When will Arizona Memorial reopen?” and “When will Arizona run out of water?”

“Can Arizona” had the most variety in its answers.

There were questions about whether the Arizona and Arizona State football teams could win games, the quality of Arizona iced tea, the Arizona Cardinals and Arizona’s possibility of turning from a red state to a blue state.

Maybe Google’s suggestions will change soon if everyone finds the answers they are looking for.
