Car crashes into Phoenix house; toddler and 2 others injured

PHOENIX – Authorities in Phoenix said three people, including a toddler, were hospitalized Sunday night after a car crashed into a house.

Fire Department Capt. Chris Gentry said in an email a 1-year-old was in unstable condition after the accident at 87th and Campbell avenues.

A 21-year-old man and 17-year-old girl pulled themselves and the child out of the wreckage a little after 9 p.m., first responders said. The car was upside down in the garage.

ABC15 reported no one in the home was injured.

Police were investigating the cause of the crash.

Glendale Fire assisted at the scene.

No other details were available.
