In between, the red sedan also sped along Loop 101 into Scottsdale and Peoria before the car came to a halt because of shredded tires.
Phoenix Police and a helicopter from the Arizona Department of Public Safety stayed with the car using a GPS tracker that was on a tablet in the car.
DPS troopers reportedly used tire-puncturing devices to try to stop the vehicle.
Two others in the car were questioned but would be released.
