Campo Italian Bistro & Bar will permanently close Friday after its final dinner service, the restaurant announced this week.
In a social media post, the Scottsdale Italian eatery said the decision was difficult but did not expand on why the restaurant was closing. The Genuine Concepts hospitality group restaurant was best known for its house-made pastas and cooking classes.
Campo is hosting farewell specials through its final days, including $5 martinis Thursday.
Many of the restaurant’s bartenders and servers will transition to other nearby Genuine Concepts locations, the company said. Genuine Concepts manages The Vig and Little Woody in Arcadia and The Womack in North Phoenix.
