Buckeye Air Fair takes flight at West Valley airport this weekend

This weekend the sky's the limit with the Buckeye Air Fair returning to the West Valley for some high-flying action.

PHOENIX — This weekend the sky’s the limit with the Buckeye Air Fair returning to the West Valley for some high-flying action.

The event is set to take place Saturday and Sunday at the Buckeye Municipal Airport, 3000 S. Palo Verde Road, with four stunt pilots performing a new show from noon to 2 p.m. each day.

Visitors will also get the chance to see two pilots compete wing-to-wing in a take-off and landing competition Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Pilots around the country will showcase their aircraft, while visitors will also have access to food, vendors and a kids’ zone.

Admission to the event is free and parking can be purchased online for $10 or at the event for $15.

VIP tickets for a closer look of the air show are also available.
